After the national breakout of an experimental virus X from country Y's secret lab, the world was an undead paradise. The world was an unescapable survival battle-field. The few survivors left were all conditioned to the art of survival combat. Those who didn't were either killed by others, by zombies(undead people) or by becoming a zombie themselves.
This continued for a decade till a cure was discovered and spread world-wide to destroy virus X. The cure(virus Z) was a counter virus which attached themselves to virus X and cocooned it up to stop virus X from anf replication hence stopped its spread and died of starvation.
The world was hence saved, but at a highly unpredictable death-rate. When all the survivors had learned of the zombie-free world, they were overjoyed with relief. But little did they know that the world was yet to escape its horrific fate.
